Oh yeah that’s another thing I forgot to mention, this episode clearly proved that the outside world is safe. Silo 17 getting out their only concern was that the escapees were close to being seen by other silos. There was no waiting for the poison or radiation to kick in, it was instantly sending assault drones and drones with some sort of toxic gas. This episode 100% proved to me that the gas they put on cleaners in the airlocks is actually poison.
Stenson is very much the evil mastermind, especially with how much he was telling Daniel he “needed his brain” for the silos, specifically his brain and not him, then they get him into Silo 1 and just completely wipe any and all of his personality and memories. No sister, no girlfriend, no child

Apple TV does the minimize-screen thing immediately and tries to make me watching Ted Lasso happen. I didn’t think to reopen the screen. Partly because I was too busy being stunned by the entire episode.
It was kind of Severance-y in the way the forget/remember their wives.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if Apple decided to merge two unrelated shows into a final storyline? Like Lumon tech was being developed ultimately for Silo work separation? We’re well past that now and it wouldn’t work, but that would be a cool concept and a crazy marketing reveal.
Some of the themes also remind me of Westworld S1, being brought back online with your memory wiped, the way the silos seem to exist in a bubble, etc.

Troy is Daniel, his memory is currently wiped with the doctors memory loss technology. Same for his sister.
The silos are 350 years post-nuke, confirmed by cryo technology.
The air outside is safe, however only Silos 1 knows that with absolute certainty.

Daniel will DEFINITELY be on a mission in season 4 to sneak around silo 1 to find out the truth
if you clicked off before Episode 10 ended, there is a trailer for season 4!! It reveals even more things.
“But the air outside is safe, so why doesn’t Silo 1 let them out?! The experiment worked!” Because Silo 1’s goals are not clear to us viewers yet. It is more nefarious than you might think.
We know at least 42 years. First time we see Daniel/Troy is woken (for 17 rebellion) is 7 years since his last. Silo 18 is 35 years since 17 rebellion. Whether 350 years is accurate is uncertain, but we do at least know they are moving significant amount of time between events.
Silo 1’s monitor showing lush landscape. Can’t be a feed from right outside their silo because they’re at the center, so another silo would also see the greenery. It also didn’t seem to match the framing shots from ep. 9. So just a morale booster?

And his sister. She’s the only one, other than the dead doctor, that showed any kind of a conscience. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was piloting the drone that shot Lukas and Kennedy and intentionally shot the radio, hoping at least one of them would survive.
Charlotte could intentially keep them alive, Lukas and Kennedy.
Compared to the map from previous episode, it appears there are only 7 remaining silos including 1? Silos 42, 44, 31, 18, 14, and 19 remain.
