It’s so sad. The world does not get Russians, at all. Into English, they translated the book as ‘War and peace.’
There’s no peace in Russian language, neither in their culture. The correct translation is ‘War and the World.’ Yet naive westerners took ‘Russian world’ as ‘Russian peace.’ A mistake that would cost us our lives, no less.
