Procrastination is not cheap

Honey, I’m having a shelf of firewood pieces to chop here!

I noticed an interesting phenomenon. Upon procrastinating, I could spend more mental resources than upon doing the task I actively avoid.

And laziness or procrastination, they take mental resources, while doing the task — especially quite routinish one — is very cheap on mental resources. Sometimes you just need to do it and be done with it.
